Photo walks in Paris
A hidden corner of Paris, a theme, and people to wander it with.
We pick a corner of Paris you probably haven’t seen and wander it with a theme to shoot. Walking partners rotate along the way, and it ends at a terrace with drinks and a vote for the best photo.
The Format
What to expect
- Step 1
Meet and warm up
We gather at the meeting point, do a quick round of names, and hear the theme and the route.
- Step 2
Walk, shoot, swap
Solo shooting mixed with small group challenges, and you swap walking partners along the way. The photos people take say a lot about them, which is half the fun.
- Step 3
Drinks and the vote
We finish at a café terrace. Everyone puts up their best shot, the room votes, and the winner takes a secret prize.

Practical Info
Before you show up
- Camera
- Whatever you have. Most people shoot on their phone, and that’s genuinely enough.
- Language
- English, with plenty of French speakers along for the walk.
- Pace
- Slow. A couple of kilometres over one or two hours, ending at a café.
- Route
- A different neighbourhood each time. The meeting point is on the event page.
Questions
Photo Walks FAQ
- Do I need a real camera?
- No, most people shoot on their phones. The walk is about looking at the city and talking to people, and the photos are the excuse.
- What if my photos are bad?
- Nobody’s judging. The vote at the end is for fun, and the worst photo usually gets the biggest laugh.
- Where do we meet?
- The meeting point is on each event page, usually a café or a metro exit near the route.
- Can I come alone?
- Most people do. Partners rotate during the walk, so you’ll have talked to nearly everyone by the end.
